This volume of articles aims to highlight the intellectual, moral and civic involvement of Danièle Sallenave, both in her fictional and critical work, and studies the various ways in which she establishes a real "memory pact" with her reader. Literature, by its function of disalienation or "irresignation", aims according to it to develop the potentialities of the subject and in particular to form its political judgment. Also at the end of the volume are the unpublished proceedings of the Round Table that took place at the Académie française on January 14, 2015, a week after the attack on Charlie Hebdo. Danièle Sallenave, Chantal Thomas, Camille Laurens and Adrien Bosc discuss the freedom of thinking and the notion of involvement in today's writers.--Le comptoir des presses universitaires.
