Novirae is an independent project. We built it because Goodreads became a graveyard, because legacy platforms got stuck in 2010, and because real readers deserve better than a product bought out and forgotten since.

We took inspiration from Letterboxd, which proved a community can keep a platform standing with no ads, no imposed algorithm, no resold data. We want to do the same for books.

Built with care first, because we know reading best. For all readers, because a great book has no borders.

What we'll never be

How we sustain it

The essentials are and will stay free. Later, a Pro subscription (advanced stats, exports) will fund the project without needing ads or data resale.
